Kainui Road Vineyard featured the Bob Marley Tribute Band recently in Kerikeri. Our floral hair wreaths were a welcome addition to regular Hair Shimmer fun for thousands who sang and danced the night away.

Easter Saturday proved a very busy day with many visitors at the Old Packhouse Market in Kerikeri.  The sun caught gorgeous reflections of light in the popular Ocean Blue, Diva Purple and Silver colour combination.

With only an hour between the close of the market and the start of the Ocean and Orchard Festival I had a busy time relocating and setting up for the late afternoon.  Local music as well as the Leonard Cohen tribute band, Imperfect Offering, kept my pace up as queues of beautiful women and girls delighted in adding flashes of colourful light to their hair.

What an amazing day!

What a spectacular summer we’ve had!  The trends this season have been 2-3 strands tied in just behind one ear to flow from underneath and having 2-3 corresponding colours on the opposite side of the crown, cascading to frame your face.  Ocean Blue, Silver, Diva Purple or Fuchsia Pink continue to be a popular colour combination.  It’s your time to shine!

Just in time for the school Ball!  Make a 10 minute appointment for $10 to add Hair Shimmers at Hobson Hair Studio in Kerikeri.  Appointments are available on Thursday and Friday, 24th and 25th July from 3-5pm and Saturday, 26th from 9am-1pm @407 9926.  Hair Shimmers once tied in with a simple slip know can be washed, blow dried, straightened or curled to style just like your own hair and last up to six weeks.

Hair Shimmers will be attending the School Ball Expo at the Ellerslie Show Grounds on Wednesday, 19th March.  We’ll be providing demonstrations of how to use Hair Shimmers and offering special discounts on purchases made on the day.  See you there!
